Connect a scanner to make sure there are no trouble codes stored in the computer’s memory. The PCM itself is a silver rectangle with 4 plugs in the back. Remove the big black plastic box that the air filter is in and you will see the PCM being held in by a plastic bracket. That's the thing on the driver's side, closest to the headlight with some tubing running to the engine. The PCM is located under the air filter box. This required an extra wire to be added for 1995 models. In 1995 the 4L60E changed slightly, and an additional solenoid was added to the valve body. 94-95 PCM's can be flashed through the diagnostic port using rather inexpensive hardware and software. All 94+ LT1 PCM's are aluminum in color with 4 rectangle plugs.
